Students will complete a BEng major and then pursue an MSc(Eng) in Artificial Intelligence in Engineering within 4+1 years. Robotics has evolved into a distinct engineering discipline, moving beyond fragmented efforts across separate fields to require highly integrated expertise for developing intelligent systems that can meet future challenges. The Bachelor of Engineering in Robotics Engineering (ROBO) is a four-year full-time interdisciplinary programme jointly offered by the Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Data and Systems Engineering, and Civil Engineering, designed to nurture robotics engineers with holistic, systems-level thinking and strong cross-disciplinary capability.

The Advanced Leadership Track offered under the existing Bachelor of Nursing programme (BNurs-ALT) is designed for high achievers, who aspire to pursue an advanced and specialised nurse practice or a nurse-physician career in the healthcare sector. In addition to the 5-year BNurs curriculum, students will have the opportunity to articulate to either HKU Master of Nursing (MNurs) or HKU Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
