Pursue a career in Engineering or a variety of fields
This programme’s contemporary learning process is designed to create well-rounded graduates with a solid foundation in engineering and expertise in their chosen specialisation. Spend your first year acquiring a core set of requirements and experiences alongside all first-year engineering students. This is your first step towards choosing your desired study programme, subject to academic performance.
Under the common admissions scheme, the curriculum structure for the first academic year is common to all BEng students. Students will choose one of the following BEng programme after their first year of study, on the basis of academic performance:
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronic Engineering
- Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management
- Mechanical Engineering
Students can opt for minor options in other engineering disciplines offered by the Faculty of Engineering or those offered by other faculties, subject to the requirements of respective minor options.
Academic advising is in place to guide students for their course selection, programme selection and career planning.
