Mr. Joseph Chan, Programme Lead, Entrepreneurship, Design & Innovation
With the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, many HKDSE students from Secondary 4 to 6 are severely affected with their studies. In order to help students who require extra academic support, Student Ambassadors from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) will provide a series of online sessions for learning support in April.
HKU will host a series of talks to give you a deeper understanding in the latest programmes. The talks will be hosted on March 15th, 18th, 22nd, and 25th at 6:30pm (HKT).
The Liberal Studies subject will be revamped and renamed “Citizenship and Social Development” subject in 2024. In view of that, HKU will also update its University Entrance Requirements for 2024 entry. Parents’ support, mutual understanding and communication are vitally important for students to make the most suitable choice of elective subjects.
The demand for talent who know how to utilize big data is on the rise, and this trend will continue to grow in this data-driven generation. In the following few weeks, HKU will be hosting a series of talks – Career Aspiration at HKU – to share about the career aspiration of latest programmes, including some programmes that are designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to excel in today’s digitalised world. To start off, HKU will host a session to give you a glimpse into the state and future of data analytics.
With the emerging demand for talents in data and technology, HKU offers cutting-edge programmes to equip students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in today’s digitalised world. Our graduates are well prepared for the workplace, and we have achieved a near 100% employment rate for the past 15 consecutive years. As data science professionals become increasingly sought-after in India and globally, HKU will be hosting a Virtual Open House with a focus on Engineering and Computer Science for Indian students.
