The Master of Arts in the field of Hong Kong History provides advanced training in both academic history and knowledge relevant to the professional job market. With its unparalleled expertise in the social, political, and cultural history of Hong Kong, the Department of History offers the world's first MA programme enabling students to conduct in-depth study in Hong Kong history. Two required core courses introduce advanced academic skills in historical research and writing. Students choose four elective courses, with offerings varying from year to year, and they enjoy the flexibility to select offerings according to their academic interests and preferences. Students also complete an MA capstone project under the supervision of an expert supervisor from inside or outside the department. Please see the website for full details.

Programme Entrance Requirements
A Bachelor's degree with a major in History; or a Bachelor's degree in another subject with experience of studying history.
