The Hong Kong Jockey Club Striding On Scholarship aims to recognise students who have achieved excellence while demonstrating resilience and strength of mind to overcome adversities or challenges in life. These may include but are not limited to: challenges that arise from special educational needs or other forms of disabilities, health needs, prejudices on account of the individual’s race, gender or religious beliefs, hardships of all types (financial or otherwise), or other extenuating personal or familial circumstances.

The Faculty of Architecture Scholarship for Architecture Students
This merit-based scholarship was established to attract the best students to apply for admission into the undergraduate programmes under the Department of Architecture. The Scholarship shall be awarded to deserving students, based on academic merit, who have been offered admission into the BA(AS) or BASc(Design+) Programme. The number and exact value of the scholarships to be awarded each year shall be determined by the Selection Committee, based on the academic merit of eligible students and funding available at the time.

Paul Leese Memorial Scholarship
In 2024, The Paul Leese Memorial Scholarship was established by Mr. Leese’s family. Six scholarships shall be granted annually to full-time undergraduate students reading the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies in the Department of Architecture at the University of Hong Kong. The scholarships shall be awarded based on academic merit and financial need.
