The scholarship information below pertains to the 2023 admissions, while details for the 2024 admissions are subject to modification.

This scholarship recognises outstanding HKDSE students admitted to HKU who are among the top 1% of those who meet the University Entrance Requirements.

Eligibility

Scholarships are awarded to outstanding HKDSE students admitted to HKU who are among the top 1% of candidates who meet the University Entrance Requirements. This includes students who have obtained level 5** in 4 HKDSE subjects.

Scholarship

Successful applicants will receive a one-off scholarship of HK$50,000.

 

NOTES

  • The HKDSE examination results are based on 2023 only and in one sitting.
  • Students must not be HKDSE repeaters.
  • Students must fulfil the minimum University Entrance Requirements.
  • The result of Mathematics Extended Part Module 1 or 2 may be considered in lieu of Mathematics Compulsory Part.
