Ocean plastics destory our natural marine environment. ClearBot is a scalable, AI-powered, plastic collecting intelligent robotic solution presented by HKU Engineering students to address the ocean plastic epidemic.
The team got the 1st runner-up at the Student Competition of 2019 Global Grand Challenges Summit (GGCS) in London.
Team Hollo won the 2020 Microsoft Imagine Cup World Champion with a mental health platform connecting a mobile app for users and a web application for mental health professionals; leveraging their own technology with Azure analytics and AI services to advance youth therapy practices.
With members from Faculty of Science and Engineering, this is the first team from Hong Kong to have won the World Champion since the launch of the Microsoft Imagine Cup in 2003.
