The scholarship information below pertains to the 2024 admissions, while details for the 2025 admissions are subject to modification.

In 2015, the Department of Social Work and Social Administration pooled funding from earlier donations and other sources for the establishment of this Social Work Entrance Scholarships for students who are admitted to the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree programme through the JUPAS or non-JUPAS Scheme from the academic year 2015-16.

The Scholarship shall be awarded to academically outstanding Year one students, who are admitted to the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) programme with a total score of at least 28 or above in best 5 subjects among category A or C (excluding Mathematics extended module 1 and 2) in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examinations or outstanding results in recognized international qualification examinations.
