Parents Talk for HKDSE 2022 - Strategies for Subject Selection

The Liberal Studies subject will be revamped and renamed “Citizenship and Social Development” subject in 2024. In view of that, HKU will also update its University Entrance Requirements for 2024 entry. Parents’ support, mutual understanding and communication are vitally important for students to make the most suitable choice of elective subjects. 

HKU will be hosting a “Parents Talk for HKDSE 2022 - Strategies for Subject Selection” in March. Representatives from the Admissions Office will introduce the University Entrance Requirements from 2024 onwards, along with insights on the relationship between HKDSE subject selection and university studies, and other important admissions information. Parents can take this opportunity to enhance their knowledge on HKDSE and university admissions so that they can assist and give advice  to their children.

Our student ambassadors will also share their experiences on subject selection, exams preparation, university application and HKU life. There will be a Q&A session in which parents are welcome to raise any questions.

Tips to succeed in your SNDAS Application for HKDSE Students (in Cantonese)
In order to help you better prepare your supporting documents for SNDAS, HKU is hosting the “Tips to Succeed in your SNDAS Application” Online Sharing Session. In the session, Chris Guan and Alex Shiu, who are admitted to HKU through SNDAS, will share their experience and provide tips for preparing their personal statement, portfolio, and SNDAS interview during the session. Mr. Edwin Ng, our Student Recruitment Counsellor, will also share the latest update on SNDAS for this year’s HKDSE students.
