HKU is launching a pioneering HKU-PKU Dual Degree Programme (Politics, Philosophy and Economics), in collaboration with Peking University. This innovative programme is jointly designed by the HKU Faculty of Social Sciences and Peking University’s Yuanpei College.

This new programme offers a comprehensive curriculum fostering critical thinking, ethical leadership, and global awareness. It focuses on interdisciplinary understanding and critical leadership skills. Graduates will be well-equipped for diverse careers, including public policy, law, international relations, and beyond.

Students admitted to this new programme can seamlessly integrate their studies across two top universities in Hong Kong and Beijing. Students will spend the first two years at Peking University, followed by two years at HKU. Graduates will earn an HKU Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSocSc) degree alongside a Peking University Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
