2. Self-funded Programmes
All other programmes not listed above are offered on a self-funded basis. The tuition fees for such programmes are higher and there are sometimes differential fees for local and non-local students*. Interested applicants should consult individual departments or faculties about the fees for 2025-2026 in early 2025 when the rates for the coming year are expected to be available.
3. Fee Payment
The composition fee is normally payable annually in two instalments, with the exception of a few taught postgraduate curricula such as DNurs, MBA, MNurs, MPsyMed, PDipID, PDipPsyMed, and CertChinLang. For modular programmes, the fee payable is based on the number of courses to be taken by the candidates.
Applicants should note that:
a) The first instalment of the composition fee is payable at the time of acceptance of an offer of admission (unless specified otherwise in the relevant documents).
b) Once an offer of admission is accepted, a student is liable to pay the composition fee.
c) Once paid, the composition fee cannot be refunded.
d) The University reserves the right to cancel any programme due to insufficient interest, in which case all composition fees paid will be refunded.
