Joint Information Session for HKU Law's LLM(CFL) and LLM(CR) Programmes

Hong Kong over the past twenty years has become one of the world's most important financial centres.  The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is one of the world's best locations for the study of corporate and financial law, regulation, compliance and technology, centred on the Asian Institute of International Financial Law (AIIFL), the Master of Laws (LLM) programme in Corporate and Financial Law, the LLM programme in Compliance and Regulation, and the Law, Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship (LITE) Programme.

Our LLM(CFL) and LLM(CR) programmes are today the premier postgraduate programmes for the study of corporate and financial law, regulation, compliance and technology in Asia.  These two programmes highlight the key themes and issues driving global finance today: regulation, technology, sustainability, globalisation, fragmentation.

To learn more, an Information Session for prospective applicants of the two LLM programmes will be held on 16 January 2021 (Saturday).  The Programme Directors will give an introduction to the purpose and structure of the two programmes, what incoming students can expect in course choices, academic requirements, and how the two programmes differ in content and approach. They will also answer questions on the programmes and on preparing to apply to study postgraduate law at HKU.
