Hon Ping Entrance Scholarship for Nigerian Students
This entrance scholarship enables outstanding students from Nigeria with academic merit and financial need to pursue an undergraduate degree at HKU.
HeForShe IMPACT Champion Scholarships
This scholarship recognises outstanding female students from countries with low national achievements or disadvantaged backgrounds. Male students that have shown a proven commitment to achieving the HeForShe movement’s goals are also eligible to apply.
HKU Belt and Road Scholarship
Supported by the Hong Kong government, this scholarship recognises outstanding students from participating Belt and Road countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Myanmar, among others.
HKU Scholarships for Future Leaders
This scholarship recognises outstanding undergraduates who are from economies in transition and have demonstrated evidence of excellence and outstanding leadership and commitment to HK. Shortlisted candidates may need to supply additional documents.
HKU Entrance Scholarships for Students with Indian Board Examinations
Students admitted to the HKU's undergraduate programmes who achieve 97% for the India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination or Indian School Certificate Examinations will be eligible for a scholarship to cover full tuition fee. Eligible students will be shortlisted and nominated for the selection committee's consideration on a rolling basis.
HKU Entrance Scholarships for Outstanding Students (Other Qualifications Holders)
This merit-based scholarship recognises outstanding students newly admitted to HKU’s undergraduate programmes or university collaborative programmes. Eligible students will be shortlisted and nominated for the selection committee's consideration on a rolling basis.
HKU Entrance Scholarships for GCE A-Level and International Advanced Level Qualified Students
Students admitted to HKU’s undergraduate programmes who achieve 5A* in one academic year for GCE A-Level or International A-Level qualifications will be eligible for a scholarship to cover full tuition fee. Eligible students will be shortlisted and nominated for the selection committee's consideration on a rolling basis.
The subjects should be taken in one academic year (September to August) and should not include language subjects.
HKU Entrance Scholarships for International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Students
Students admitted to HKU’s undergraduate programmes who achieve 44 or above in IB Diploma will be eligible for a scholarship to cover up to full tuition fee. Eligible students will be shortlisted and nominated for the selection committee's consideration on a rolling basis.
