HKU Sports Scholarship Scheme offers an alternative admission pathway for outstanding athletes to study in the University. HKU provides Sports Scholars with various supports, which would include personalized academic advising, flexible learning arrangements, counselling, and strength & conditioning training so that they can pursue academic and sport excellence at the same time.
The entrance scholarship will be awarded to outstanding students who are admitted to 6901 BSc / 6224 BASc(AppliedAI) / 6688 SMC / 6858 BSc&LLB* degree programme through JUPAS on the basis of academic merit as shown in the HKDSE examination results.

The Faculty of Arts Entrance Scholarship for Bachelor of Arts programmes, awarded by the Faculty of Arts of HKU, is offered to students who are admitted to JS6054 Bachelor of Arts or JS6286 Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Digital Technologies based on the merits of distinguished HKDSE results.
In honour of the late Professor Barry Fegan Will, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture from 1990 to 1998, the Scholarship was established to award top applicants for the BA(AS) programme.
The Jardine HKU Scholarship is newly established to be awarded annually with the aim of supporting access to further education by local students who are financially in need, in order to nurture local talents to be future leaders who will give back to their community.
